The Running Scots competed in the Marcus I Invitational on Saturday at North Lakes Park in Denton.  The varsity team of Charlie Campbell, Hunter Hegi, Brett Jacot, Eric Lara, Ethan Moss, Jack Payne and Pierce Whiteman finished 28th overall in the Elite Division.  Freshman Hunter Hegi led the team with a time of 17:28.  In the Elite Junior Varsity division the team finished an outstanding 9th overall and were led by junior Joseph Linck who finished 28th among finishers.  In the JV Open division the team finished 15th overall and were led by junior Holt Sieling.  The Running Scots will compete next Saturday at the Southlake Carroll Invitational at Bob Jones Park.  Races start at 7 AM.  Go Scots!
