The Running Scots competed well at the Waxahachie Woodhouse Invitational on Saturday at Lakeview Camp.  The varsity team of Charlie Campbell, Hunger Hegi, Brett Jacot, Tommy Kerr, Ethan Moss and Jack Payne finished 8th overall.  The team was led by freshman Hunter Hegi who turned in a personal best time of 17:23 and finished 43rd overall.  Five Varsity runners posted personal best times on Saturday.  In the JV division the team finished 6th overall.  Joseph Linck led the JV team finishing 6th in the individual standings with a time of 18:06.  Seven JV runners turned in personal best times on Saturday.  The Golden Spike Award goes to Hunter Hegi and the outstanding JV runner honors is awarded to Joseph Linck.  The team will compete this Saturday at the Marcus I Invitational at North Lakes Park in Denton.  Race time is 7:00 am.  Go Scots!
