The students from Highland Park Middle School Playbill troupe will perform the pop rock sensation FAME JR. for four performances Thursday, Oct. 17, through Sunday, Oct. 20.

The one-act musical, designed for middle-school aged performers, is based on the hit motion pictures, television series and international stage success of FAME. The cast contains 40 students led by HPMS Drama Director Susan McCormick, HPMS Choir Director Heath Farr, HPMS Music Director Laurie Tirmenstein and Chorographer/Artistic Director of the Preston Center Dance Conservatory for the Arts, Megan Kelly Bates.

Performances of FAME JR. are open to the public at Highland Park Middle School, 3555 Granada, Dallas, Texas, 75225 for four performances on:

  • 7 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 17
  • 4 p.m., Friday, Oct. 18
  • 7 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 19
  • 2 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 20

Admission is $5 and tickets can be purchased the day of the performance 30 minutes in advance, or tickets can be purchased in the school cafeteria the week of the production.
