FEBRUARY 8

Theft
An 18-year-old student at Highland Park High School reported that she left her wallet in a classroom, and when she returned to get it another student had moved the wallet, and $135 in cash was missing from it at 2:30 p.m. Jan. 25.

Theft
Two men stole $60.05 worth of cosmetics around 1 p.m. from a CVS store in the 3000 block of Mockingbird Lane.

FEBRUARY 10

Theft
A 58-year-old resident reported that the rear wheels were stolen off his 2011 GMC Sierra between 8 p.m. Feb. 9 and 7 a.m. Feb. 10 in the 4200 block of Hanover Street.

Theft
A 47-year-old resident reported that a license plate was stolen off her 2004 Chevrolet Tahoe between 5 p.m. Feb. 9 and 6:30 a.m. Feb. 10 in the 3600 block of Purdue Street.

Theft
A 37-year-old resident reported that the left rear wheel and tire were stolen off his 2009 GMC Yukon between 9:30 p.m. Feb. 9 and 7:30 Feb. 10 in the 3000 block of Amherst Avenue.

Vehicle Burglary
A 30-year-old resident reported that someone broke into her 2011 Cadillac Escalade and stole money and credit cards from her purse and a digital camera from the car’s inside console between 10 p.m. Feb. 9 and 9 a.m. Feb. 10 in the 3400 block of Hanover Street.

Vehicle Burglary
A 36-year-old resident of Garland reported that a $300 edger was stolen from the bed of his truck between 11:45 a.m. and noon in the 6200 block of Lomo Alto Drive.

Building Burglary
A 38-year-old resident of Dallas reported that his laptop computer was stolen from his office at his place of work around 12:20 p.m. in the 2700 block of Fondren Drive.

Vehicle Burglary
A 21-year-old resident reported that someone broke a window of her 2009 Lexus and stole an $80 backpack that had $100 worth of gift cards in it between 6:40 p.m. and 10:20 p.m. in the 3000 block of University Boulevard.

FEBRURAY 11

Robbery
A 46-year-old resident of La Jolla, California, reported that she was “struck by (a) cab driver after a disagreement over the fare,” and then the driver took her $3,000 Chanel purse containing a $650 Louis Vuitton wallet, $500 sunglasses, $180 cash and a $200 Apple iPhone and drove off at 2:38 a.m. in the 3400 block of Rosedale Avenue.

FEBRUARY 12

Unauthorized Use of Vehicle
A 51-year-old resident reported that his 2005 Chevrolet Suburban was stolen between 8:30 a.m. Feb. 11 and 10:30 a.m. Feb. 12 in the 3800 block of Colgate Avenue.

FEBRUARY 13

Vehicle Burglary
A 55-year-old resident reported that someone broke into her 2008 BMW X5 and stole a $1,500 Apple MacBook Pro laptop computer, $600 prescription glasses and a $50 bag between 9 p.m. Feb. 12 and 8 a.m. Feb. 13 in the 3400 block of Marquette Street.
