SEPTEMBER 18

Building Burglary
A 31-year-old resident reported that two bicycles valued at a combined total of about $3,000 were stolen from his closed garage between 6 p.m. Sept. 16 and 7:57 p.m. Sept. 18 in the 2900 block of University Boulevard.

SEPTEMBER 19

Striking Unattended Vehicle
A 37-year-old resident of Mesquite reported that his 2012 Dodge Avenger, which was parked in the 3600 block of Binkley Avenue, was struck by a vehicle between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m., but the driver of the vehicle did not stop and leave any information at the scene, but a witness did leave a note on his windshield.

SEPTEMBER 20

Vehicle Burglary
A 44-year-old resident of Highland Park reported that someone smashed a window to her 2006 Mercedes SLK280 and stole $7,818 worth of property between 3:25 p.m. and 4 p.m. in the 6400 block of Lomo Alto Drive — among the items taken were a purse, Apple iPhone and numerous debit and credit cards.

SEPTEMBER 21

Vehicle Burglary
A 42-year-old resident reported that an unknown person "cut the rear plastic windows out of the soft top" of a 2011 Jeep Wrangler and stole bags, clothing and a GPS device, valued at a total of $2,300, between 8 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. in the 3800 block of Southwestern Boulevard.

SEPTEMBER 22

Criminal Mischief
A 65-year-old reported that an unknown person threw eggs at his residence at 11:51 p.m. in the 3700 block of Bryn Mawr Drive.

SEPTEMBER 23

Theft
A 41-year-old resident reported that bicycle was stolen between 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. in the 3000 block of Fondren Drive.

SEPTEMBER 24

Parking Violation
A 2008 GMC Yukon was towed because of seven unpaid parking violations at 3:06 p.m. in the 3400 block of McFarlin Boulevard.

Vehicle Burglary
A 41-year-old resident reported that someone entered her 2006 Lexus and stole her purse, containing an American Express card, checkbook, $300 Louis Vuitton wallet, driver's license and $300 sunglasses, between 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. Sept. 23 in the 3400 block of Purdue Street.

Vehicle Burglary
A 33-year-old resident reported that someone pried open the rear window to his 2010 GMC Denali and stole a third-row seat between 9 p.m. Sept. 23 and 7 a.m. Sept. 24 in the 2700 block of Stanford Avenue.
