University Park, Texas (Sept. 11-17)
A 58-year-old resident reported that an unknown person pried open the window to the driver's side door of his 2011 Yukon, which caused it to break, and stole a briefcase and two cellphones between 10 p.m. Sept. 10 and 3:28 a.m. Sept. 11 in the 3500 block of Colgate Avenue.
A 37-year-old resident reported that a cooler was stolen out of his 2008 GMC Yukon between 1 a.m. and 3 a.m. in the 3700 block of Marquette Street.
Theft of Firearm
A 46-year-old resident reported that an unknown person broke the window to his 2012 Mercedes GLK350 and stole a Beretta handgun at 3:45 a.m. in the 3600 block of Marquette Street.
A 30-year-old resident reported that an unknown person broke a window to gain access into his 2011 GMC Yukon but did not steal anything between 10 p.m. Sept. 10 and 7:30 a.m. Sept. 11 in the 3000 block of Bryn Mawr Drive.
A 50-year-old resident reported that someone broke a window to her 2012 Ford Explorer and stole a purse between 10 p.m. Sept. 10 and 7 a.m. Sept. 11 in the 2900 block of Bryn Mawr Drive.
A 21-year-old resident reported that her wallet was stolen off a table between noon and 1 p.m. Sept. 9 in the 6300 block of Hillcrest Avenue.
Accident Involving Damage to Vehicle
A 45-year-old resident reported that an unknown vehicle struck her 2003 Mercedes around 10:15 p.m. in the 6500 block of Armstrong Parkway but did not leave information at the scene.
A 47-year-old resident reported that a $2,000 Max Mara purse, containing a $900 Louis Vuitton wallet, $500 cash, a driver's license and numerous credit and debit cards, was stolen out of her unlocked 2007 Mercedes between 6 p.m. Sept. 13 and 7 a.m. Sept. 14 in the 3200 block of Villanova Drive.
A 50-year-old resident of Garland reported that 10 electronic toothbrushes, valued at a total of $1,080.91, were stolen around 4:40 p.m. from the CVS Pharmacy in the 6700 block of Preston Road.
A 65-year-old resident reported that someone stole $150 worth of his property and threw eggs at his house at 1 a.m. in the 3700 block of Bryn Mawr Drive.
A 38-year-old resident reported that a rear wheel was stolen from his 2008 Cadillac Escalade between 1 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. in the 3700 block of Granada Avenue.
A 58-year-old resident of Murphy reported that a $475 floor stapler and a $250 power nail gun were stolen between 6 p.m. Sept. 14 and 6 a.m. Sept. 15 from a construction site in the 6900 block of Vassar Drive.
A 45-year-old resident of Justin, Texas, reported that an unknown person entered her 2008 Kia and stole a purse around 1 a.m. in the 2700 block of Fondren Drive.
A 20-year-old resident of Dallas reported that an unknown person stole the third-row seat out of his 2011 Chevrolet Tahoe between 4 p.m. Sept. 14 and 8:50 a.m. Sept. 16 in the 3000 block of Hanover Street.
A 41-year-old resident reported that someone broke the window to his 2011 GMC Yukon between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. while he was at church in the 3300 block of Wentwood Drive.
A 51-year-old resident reported that an unknown person broke the window to his 2006 Toyota 4Runner and stole an Apple MacBook Pro laptop between 9 a.m. and noon in the 8400 block of Tulane Boulevard.
A 43-year-old resident reported that her Apple iMac desktop computer was stolen from her residence between noon Sept. 15 and 1 p.m. Sept. 16 in the 3200 block Wentwood Drive.
A 41-year-old resident reported that jewelry was stolen while she was showing a house that is for sale between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. in the 4000 block of Amherst Street.
Harassment (By Threats)
A 50-year-old resident, who lives in the 3400 block of Centenary Drive, reported that a suspect harassed her over the phone at 10:40 p.m.
Harassment (Other Than by Threat)
A 53-year-old resident, who lives in the 4100 block of Windsor Parkway, reported that someone called her twice.
Accident Involving Damage to Vehicle
An 18-year-old resident reported that unknown vehicle struck his 2007 Acura RDX between 6:20 p.m. and 7:15 p.m. in the Highland Park High School parking garage but no information was left at the scene.
