HP vs. WT White (Varsity Basketball) Highland Park junior Courtney Klingaman goes in for the layup.

The Lady Scots varsity basketball team now has a 6-1 record for the season after beating the WT White Lady Longhorns 62-33 on Monday in Highland Park's main gym.

Kaitlyn Read led the Lady Scots team with 15 points and was followed by Alex Reynolds who scored 11 points, Libby Ethington who scored 9 points and Courtney Klingaman who scored 7 points.

Highland Park's next game is at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 29 at Garland's Lakeview Centennial High School.
