Happy Thursday! This week I had the privilege of traveling to Aspen to celebrate Avara's NEW fall collection, and let me tell you, these are definitely fall looks you will fall for! They have a wide variety of fall fashion pieces that are just gorgeous. Even better is that everything is so cute AND affordable. Now where's the pumpkin spice latte?

For those of you who are dying for more trip details, I went with a group of influencers and the amazing Avara team. We stayed at the MOLLIE Aspen hotel and it was just fabulous. It's a chic boutique hotel right in the heart of downtown Aspen and walkable to everything. Turndown service includes warm homemade cookies plus a humidifier. They also have a cute restaurant and a spa. Plus, they even have a car that picks you up from the airport. It's so easy! Let's start by looking at this scalloped cardigan sweater and these cuffed jeans look. So cute for fall! I love how you can wear the sweater as either a cardigan or sweater. I paired my look with these brown croc flats and these square sunglasses.

Not only do you need faux leather pants, but also a faux leather dress this season! This faux leather midi dress is perfect for your next fall date night. I am also in love with this olive dress that Gretchen Rossi is wearing. So chic for fall.

Is it just me or have you felt the weather to be fall(ish) recently? Between grocery stores being filled with pumpkins, pumpkin spice items and the slow drop in temperatures, it gets me inspired to decorate for fall. This is why today I’m sharing some fall home decor inspiration. Let's look at pieces you can add to your home for fall, including items for Halloween and Thanksgiving. These pieces are tasteful and don't detract from your usual home decor. I know some people who love decorating for each individual holiday and others who like to decorate for the season as a whole. What do you do? I love to decorate for fall and then add some touches for Halloween and Thanksgiving. Right after that, I do major decorating for the Christmas holiday season. But overall I operate by the "one holiday at a time" rule. Below I've also included the top 10 best sellers from August. These are additional fall pieces you'll want in your wardrobe.

Fall Home Decor Ideas

If you’re looking for general fall home decor, I recommend adding some subtle pieces to your home. A throw blanket is a perfect option. This chenille throw blanket  will instantly add that subtle touch of fall. Another easy way to add some fall into your home is with pillows. This velvet pillow cover is a great way to add fall textures and tones to your home. I also love this floral pillow as a fall accent piece. A fall colored lamp or brown leather picture frame are other easy ways to add subtle fall tones to your everyday decor. This braided wooden oval mirror is another beautiful piece that adds fall tone and texture to your home.

Looking for storage items that double as decor? This velvet storage ottoman is so chic and perfect for fall. Another beautiful piece to add to a living space is this rattan basket. Labor Day Weekend is officially here! Praise Be! Are you staying home for LDW or traveling? If you want to plan a last minute road trip, check out my favorite Texas travel destinations for ideas. Today I’m sharing some white items and pieces that can not only be worn over Labor Day Weekend, but also afterwards. Just because summer is over does not mean you have to ditch all of your white clothing pieces. I wear my white jeans all year long! That rule about not wearing white after Labor Day is totally outdated. These pieces are especially great for transitioning from summer to fall. All White Looks

Let's start with some pieces that are not only great for Labor Day Weekend, but also for fall. Now, if you don't already own a great pair of white straight leg jeans, then you need them. You can wear them all year long. White jeans pair well with any blouse and look great with a chunky sweater in the winter. A pair of white denim shorts is another must-have. They're perfect to throw on for a football game or day at the fair. Plus, most white shorts are currently on sale so it's a great time to buy.

As far as tops go, I love this ruffle detail blouse. It is a classic style with a twist, making it the perfect everyday blouse. Plus, it's currently on sale. Another popular style is the short-sleeved sweater, like this short-sleeve crewneck cardigan. It's a great piece to make you feel like fall without getting too hot and it's at a great price point. A white dress is another wardrobe staple. This midi shirtdress is so chic and on sale for 50% off! You may be thinking that you can't wear a white dress into fall. Not true! For something new, I want to share a segment called Foster Favorites! This is a curated list of things that I am loving, craving and wanting. Today I want to focus on some early fall trends to look out for that I am totally falling for. From fashion to beauty, I know you will love these pieces as well. I call this season our 'transition' season as the temps can still be warm but everyone is seriously ready for some change.

Everyone needs a great dress for fall. One dress I am loving is this denim midi dress. The style is so chic and elegant, plus the denim material makes it perfect for fall. I am also in love with this denim tiered maxi dress or this belted denim dress for options at a lower price point. It's still a hot trend this fall so I recommend finding a denim dress that you love. Pair it with these suede slingback pumps and this Loewe shoulder bag for a super chic look.

Another item that everyone needs this fall is a great pair of jeans. One pair I have my eyes on are these Veronica Beard wide leg jeans. They make your legs look so long! I own several Veronica Beard jeans, like these cuffed jeans, and love them. I also love these denim trousers for a similar look at a lower price point. Style your jeans with this cashmere sweater shell for an early fall look. Just add this knit jacket once temperatures start cooling down. It's the perfect elegant piece and can be worn all year long. Another accessory I love are sunglasses. These Loewe sunglasses are my go-to sunglasses. I have been wearing them for about six months and love them. Quay sunglasses are another one of my all time favorites. It's a great brand at a reasonable price point. Another fall accessory you need is a silk scarf. There are endless possibilities of how to tie a scarf, making it the most versatile accessory.
