THEFT OF PROPERTY FROM A MOTOR VEHICLE

A 54-year-old Midlothian resident told police that an unknown person took yard equipment valued at approximately $1,000 from a closed trailer between 11:24 a.m. and 11:34 a.m. on Dec. 23 in the 4200 block of Shenandoah Ave.

THEFT OF PROPERTY (ALL OTHER)

A 57-year-old resident reported that an unknown person(s) stole her flood light bulbs between Sept. 29 and Dec. 23 in the 3900 block of Amherst Street.

FRAUDULENT USE OR POSSESSION OF IDENTIFYING INFORMATION

A 59-year-old resident told police that her personal information was used to open bank accounts and for an attempt to open credit accounts between Nov. 1 and Dec. 23 in the 2800 block of Hanover Street.

POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE AND DRUG PARAPHERNALIA

A 28-year-old subject was arrested for possession of heroin at 10:08 p.m. on Dec. 23 in the 3200 block of Amherst Street.

UNAUTHORIZED USE OF VEHICLE

A 48-year-old resident reported that an unknown subject took her BMW 750i without permission after the key was left in the car between 10 p.m. and 11 p.m. on Dec. 23 in the 2900 block of Rosedale Ave.

BURGLARY OF VEHICLE (ALL OTHER THEFT)

A 55-year-old resident told police that his vehicle was broken into and his gun, valued at approximately $400, was stolen between Dec. 2 and Dec. 25 in the 2800 block of Fondren Drive.

DECEMBER 27

THEFT OF PROPERTY (SHOPLIFTING)

A 48-year-old Rowlett resident reported that an unknown white male suspect entered Tom Thumb, took six wine/champagne bottles from the wine rack valued at approximately $400 and left without paying between 5:58 p.m. and 6 p.m. on Dec. 27 in the 4000 block of Villanova Drive.
