A 47-year-old resident told police that an unknown suspect took her property including a $1,500 Prada wallet, an iPhone 4 and $100 cash between 2:30 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. on Jan. 5 in the 8400 block of Preston Center Plaza.

THEFT OF PROPERTY
A 47-year-old Highland Park resident reported that she left her iPhone 4 in the restroom and a suspect took it without permission between 7:30 p.m. and 8:14 p.m. on Jan. 8 in the 3500 block of Granada Ave.
UNAUTHORIZED USE OF VEHICLE
A 58-year-old Flower Mound resident told police that a suspect took his Nissan Altima valued at approximately $5,000 between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. on Nov. 1 in the 4500 block of University Blvd.

POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE, DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE
A 17-year-old male, who is also a Highland Park High School football player, was arrested for DUI after a crash at 11:10 p.m. on Jan. 10 in the 3500 block of Southwestern Blvd.

ACCIDENT INVOLVING DAMAGE TO VEHICLE
A 65-year-old resident reported that a known suspect hit his vehicle, causing approximately $2,000 of damage, and did not stop to give information at 12:10 a.m. on Jan. 11 in the 6500 block of Lomo Alto Drive.

THEFT UNDER $50
A 46-year-old Richardson resident told police that an unknown suspect entered a CVS store and fled with two packages of Huggies Diapers without paying between 5:30 a.m. and 5:50 a.m. on Jan. 12 in the 3000 block of Mockingbird Lane.
THEFT OF PROPERTY
A 66-year-old resident reported that a suspect who was hired to do work in her home stole a $30,000 diamond ring inside the house between 11:30 a.m. and 1:45 p.m. on Jan. 12 in the 4000 block of Amherst Street.

A 48-year-old Rowlett resident told police that a suspect stole a bottle of wine valued at approximately $275 between 6:30 p.m. and 8 p.m. on Jan. 12 in the 4000 block of Villanova Drive.
