A 57-year-old resident told police that two black urns valued at $250 each were taken from her front porch between 9:00 p.m. on Oct. 31 and 8:00 a.m. on Nov. 1 in the 4400 block of Normandy Avenue.
A 49-year-old resident reported that an unknown person used fraudulent checks without the victim's consent between Aug. 16 and Sept. 20.
DECEMBER 12
A 52-year-old resident told police that his Cadillac Escalade was burglarized and his third-row seat was stolen between 12:00 a.m. on Dec. 8 and 12:00 p.m. on Dec. 12 in the 4000 block of Amherst Street.
DECEMBER 13
A 29-year-old Dallas resident reported that he was assaulted by a 63-year-old man at 2:03 p.m. on Dec. 13 in the 7000 block of Preston Road/Lovers Lane. The victim told police that the man assaulted him after he honked at him to move his car in a parking lot/garage.
DECEMBER 14
A police officer reported seeing two subjects running in an alley, where the officer arrested one for possession of marijuana in a drug free zone at 7:40 a.m. on Dec. 14 in the 4100 block of Glenwick Lane.
A 17-year-old resident told police that her Jeep Liberty was burglarized and several personal items were stolen between 10:15 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. on Dec.14 in the 4200 block of McFarlin Boulevard.
DECEMBER 15
A 46-year-old resident reported that one tire and one wheel were stolen from his Cadillac Escalade between 1:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m. on Dec. 15 in the 3500 block of Wentwood Drive.
A 45-year-old resident told police that the Christmas decorations in his front yard were vandalized between 10:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. on Dec. 15 in the 3200 block of Southwestern Boulevard.
DECEMBER 16
The City of University Park reported that one fire hydrant was struck by a vehicle between 12:00 a.m. and 10:15 a.m. on Dec. 16 in the 3800 block of Marquette Street/Tulane Boulevard.
DECEMBER 17
A 57-year-old resident told police that an unknown subject stole a watch valued at $25,000 and other jewelry from her home between 1:30 p.m. on Dec. 13 and 1:00 p.m. on Dec. 17 in the 4200 block of Larchmont Avenue.
A 50-year-old resident reported that an unknown subject attempted to steal his Dodge 2500 between 12:00 a.m. on Dec. 1 and 4:00 p.m. on Dec. 17 in the 4200 block of Caruth Boulevard.
A 57-year-old resident told police that her inflatable Santa decoration had been cut with a sharp object between 11:00 p.m. and 11:59 p.m. on Dec. 16 in the 4300 block of Normandy Avenue.
