Two Scots doubles teams won silver medals at the UIL 5A State Tennis Championship Tournament today.
The mixed doubles team of Ray Saalfield and Isabella McElfresh lost 6-4, 6-4 to Amarillo High School in the finals, after defeating Friendswood 2-6, 6-4, 6-4 in the semifinal round yesterday.
The girls doubles team of Hayden Bethea and Cambelle Henderson also finished the season as state runners-up, falling to Frisco Heritage 6-0, 6-2 in the final round. The HP pair beat Kerrville Tivy 7-6, 6-4 in the semifinals.
