Park Place Dealerships has started the new year with a bang! Working with Dallas-based Instagram influencer Dani Austin, Park Place identified a family that needed a little extra help and provided them with a new Volvo XC 40 from Park Place Volvo.

The Spears family was nominated by their daughter Caroline. “While I have always appreciated my parents, going to college gave me a whole new perspective on how much my parents sacrificed for me and my siblings. This season has been hard on my family. My dad has struggled with health issues. In light of COVID-19, my dad’s job has been very stressful. On top of all of this, my dad’s car is falling apart. The heat and AC do not work, the radio is broken, it has dents all over, it is very old, and the engine is about to die. My dad is the last person to ask for a new car, especially because we cannot afford it right now, and he always puts our needs above his own. When my dad’s current car dies, I do not know how my family is going to manage.”

As part of the Park Place Cares program, Park Place Volvo selected the Spears family from more than 700 respondents and surprised them by delivering the car to their home.
