The HPHS Highlander Strings orchestra will open its performance season at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 29, at NorthPark Center.

Under the direction of Peggy Tucker, the annual "Hauntcert" will feature musicians in costume and "ghastly" orchestral works, including a crowd-pleaser from the Pirates of the Caribbean; an arrangement of Creepy Classics, featuring "Funeral March of a Marionette" (made famous as the theme song to Alfred Hitcock Presents); a tango, "Por Una Cabeza," the Halo 2 video game theme and a surprise selection from the orchestra.

The concert will take place on Level One in NorthCourt, which is located between Nordstrom and Macy's, near the AMC NorthPark 15 theatres. The Hauntcert is free and open to the public. Click HERE for a flier.
