The Highlander Strings Orchestra held its annual raffle fundraiser, which was the most successful to date, during the Scots homecoming football game on Sept. 28.
Here is a list of the raffle winners, as announced by members of the Highland Strings Orchestra and its Parent Booster Club:
- 2013 Honda Metro Scooter — Jennifer Carp,
- Coach Handbag and Gift Cards Basket — Toni Horn,
- Dr. Dre Studio Beats Headphones and Apple iPad 3 Basket — Alice Kofahl.
"All orchestra members and parents wish to thank the Park Cities community for their generous support in the only fundraiser for the year," according to a news release from the Highlander Strings Orchestra. "Monies raised help pay for many orchestra needs such as instruments, bows, music, etc."
This year's raffle was chaired by Jessie Lo and Barbara Orr.
The Highlander Strings Orchestra will be playing a free Hauntcert at 7 p.m. Oct. 30 at NorthPark Center inside the NorthCourt entrance between Macy's and Nordstrom.
