BURGLARY OF VEHICLE
A 40-year-old Dallas resident reported that her vehicle was broken into and iPhone accessories were stolen overnight in the 4600 block of Edmondson Avenue.
NOV. 11
THEFT OF PROPERTY
A manager at Escada in Highland Park Village reported that a scarf, valued at $425, was stolen from the store at 3:06 p.m.
CREDIT/DEBIT CARD ABUSE
A 54-year-old resident in the 4500 block of Westway Avenue reported that an unknown suspect had withdrawn a total of $19,775 from his bank account without his permission between Sept. 30 and Oct. 31.
NOV. 12
THEFT OF PROPERTY
Employees of Loro Piana at Highland Park Village reported a large amount of missing inventory between May 1 and Nov. 5, and, following their own investigation, suspect that a former employee took the inventory and attempted to resell on eBay.
DAMAGE TO PRIVATE PROPERTY
A 66-year-old resident in the 3600 block of Harvard Avenue reported for insurance purposes that there were scratches on the bumper of his vehicle, appearing sometime between Nov. 5 and Nov. 7, but he does not remember an incident that could have caused the scratches.
THEFT OF MOTOR VEHICLE
A 48-year-old resident reported that her vehicle was stolen from the curb in front of her residence between 6:15 p.m. and 8 p.m. in the 4300 block of Belclaire Avenue.
NOV. 13
DAMAGE TO TOWN PROPERTY
A truck driver making a turn struck a support column, causing damage, at 3:25 p.m. at the intersection of Mockingbird Lane.
FAILURE TO LEAVE IDENTIFICATION
A 33-year-old Richardson resident reported that a known suspect struck his rear bumper while driving at the intersection of Mockingbird Lane and Abbott Avenue at 1:56 p.m. When the victim discussed filing an insurance claim, the suspect returned to his vehicle and drove away without providing information, while accidentally leaving his wallet. The suspect was identified using the contents of the wallet.
NOV. 14
FAILURE TO LEAVE IDENTIFICATION
A 24-year-old Denton resident reported that an unknown suspect struck his vehicle from behind at 5:50 p.m. in the 4200 block of Armstrong Avenue, and after surveying the damage, the suspect returned to his vehicle and drove away without leaving identification.
