FAILURE TO LEAVE IDENTIFICATION

A 56-year-old resident reported that an unknown suspect struck her parked vehicle, causing damage, and did not leave the proper identification on May 20 in the 3600 block of Maplewood Avenue.

 

MAY 24

THEFT OF PROPERTY

A 49-year-old resident reported that an unknown suspect stole 124 bottles of wine, valued at more than $47,000, between Aug. 7, 2015 and May 12, 2016 in the 4500 block of Westway Avenue.

 

MAY 25

THEFT OF PROPERTY

A 47-year-old resident reported that an unknown suspect stole his license plate and replaced it with another plate sometime between May 20 and May 25 in the 4500 block of Fairway Avenue.

 

MAY 27

FAILURE TO LEAVE IDENTIFICATION

An 18-year-old Dallas resident reported that an unknown suspect struck her parked vehicle, causing damage, and did not leave the proper identification overnight in the 3700 block of Stratford Avenue.

THEFT OF PROPERTY

An employee of Christian Louboutin at Highland Park Village reported the sale of a pair of shoes on March 19, which payment was canceled on following the sale. Multiple attempts to reach the buyer for payment have been made and all resources for receiving payment have been exhausted.

ANIMAL BITE

A 46-year-old resident reported that an unknown cat bit her, breaking the skin and causing infection, on May 19 in the 4400 block of Southern Avenue.

BURGLARY OF MOTOR VEHICLE

A 58-year-old resident reported that an unknown suspect entered her vehicle and stole her purse between 5:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. in the 4500 block of Lakeside Drive.

 

MAY 28

THEFT OF PROPERTY

A 55-year-old resident reported that following his daughter’s “get together,” several items, including a purse, car keys, jewelry and prescription medication, were stolen overnight in the 4300 block of Fairfax Avenue.

 

MAY 29

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF

A 65-year-old Dallas resident caused damage to a sprinkler head in the Highland Park DPS temporary holding facility at 12 p.m. in the 4700 block of Drexel Drive.

THEFT OF PROPERTY

A 50-year-old Dallas resident was reported for stealing groceries from While Foods (4100 block of Lomo Alto Drive) at 6:12 p.m.
