FEBRUARY 14

Vehicle Burglary
A 56-year-old resident of Dallas reported that someone smashed a window to his 2001 Lexus GS 300 while it was parked outside of his place of business in the 4200 block of Oak Lawn Avenue and stole a briefcase containing “checkbooks, tax documents, store paperwork, and five pairs of expensive eyeglasses” between 3 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.

FEBRUARY 15

Theft
A 35-year-old resident reported that all four wheel covers were stolen off her 2008 Cadillac Escalade between 3 p.m. Feb. 8 and 8 a.m. Feb. 9 in the 3500 block of Princeton Avenue.

FEBRUARY 16

Vehicle Burglary
A 37-year-old resident of Garland reported that someone stole a leaf blower from a trailer belonging to Wallace Landscaping at 9:30 a.m. while it was parked in the 4600 block of Southern Avenue.

Home Burglary
Three men attempted to burglarize a home between 10:45 a.m. and 11:03 a.m. in the 3300 block of Dartmouth Avenue.

Theft
A 46-year-old resident of Dallas reported that a man stole a $4,600 diamond wedding ring at 2 p.m. Feb. 14 from the Calame Jewelers store in Highland Park Shopping Village.

FEBRUARY 17

Theft
A 71-year-old resident reported that someone stole four wheel caps off his 2007 Cadillac Escalade between 11:30 p.m. Feb. 16 and 7:30 a.m. Feb. 17 in the 3200 block of St. Johns Drive.

Found Property
A 64-year-old resident reported that she found a black wallet containing a driver’s license and a debit card lying on a sidewalk while she was on a walk at 4:39 p.m. in the 4300 block of Armstrong Parkway.

Home Burglary
An 80-year-old resident reported that someone broke into her home and stole jewelry between 6 p.m. and 9:49 p.m. in the 4500 block of Westway Avenue.

FEBRURAY 18

Failure to Leave ID at Accident
A 21-year-old resident of Dallas reported that someone hit her 2010 Volvo S40 at 11:40 a.m. at the intersection of St. Johns Drive and Lexington Avenue, causing damage to the left-front quarter panel and bumper of the victim’s vehicle, and then drove away without leaving any information.
