MAY 11

FAILURE TO LEAVE IDENTIFICATION

A 46-year-old resident reported that an unknown vehicle came into contact with his 2007 Dodge Grand Caravan, causing damage to the driver’s side mirror and leaving dents in the front and rear fenders, sometime between 6 p.m. on May 9 and 8 a.m. on May 10 in the 4500 block of Belclaire Avenue.

LARCENY - THEFT

A 33-year-old non-resident reported that four power washers were taken from a construction site in the 4700 block of Preston Road sometime between 5:30 p.m. on May 8 and 7:10 a.m. on May 11.

MAY 13

THEFT OF MOTOR VEHICLE

A 39-year-old resident reported that her 2010 Mercedes GL550 was taken from her residence without her permission between 8:30 p.m. on May 12 and 12:45 a.m. on May 13 in the 4300 block of Belclaire Avenue. The vehicle was later recovered and a suspect was arrested.

BURGLARY OF MOTOR VEHICLE

A 43-year-old resident reported that a known suspect entered a 2007 Mercedes GL450 without her permission and stole the garage door opener between 9 p.m. and 12:46 p.m. in the 4300 block of Belclaire Avenue. Police apprehended the suspect and the garage door opener was recovered.

MAY 15

FAILURE TO LEAVE IDENTIFICATION

A 46-year-old resident reported that an unknown vehicle struck his 2015 Subaru Crosstrek, causing damage to the front quarter panel, sometime between 7:30 p.m. on May 14 and 9 a.m. on May 15 in the 4500 block of Southern Avenue.

MAY 16

IDENTITY THEFT

A 44-year-old resident in the 4500 block of Fairfax Avenue received a fraud alert that a known suspect used her card at eight different merchants without her authorization sometime before May 16.
