MAY 10

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF

A 46-year-old resident reported that an unknown suspect damaged a wooden gate, drainage gutter and outdoor light near the alley behind her home during a possible theft or burglary sometime between May 8 and May 10 in the 4300 block of Westway Avenue.

 

MAY 11

THEFT OF MOTOR VEHICLE

A 50-year-old resident reported that an unknown suspect entered his unlocked vehicle, found the keys in the center console, and took the vehicle without his consent around 5:30 a.m. in the 4500 block of Westway Avenue.

BURGLARY OF MOTOR VEHICLE

A 52-year-old resident reported that an unknown suspect entered his unlocked vehicle and stole a backpack containing an Apple laptop sometime between April 6 and April 8 in the 5500 block of Key Street.

IDENTITY THEFT

A 60-year-old Dallas resident reported on behalf of her client, a resident in the 5300 block of Byron Avenue, that an unknown suspect attempted to open a bank account in the victim’s name without his consent sometime between April 30 and May 8.

 

MAY 13

BURGLARY OF HABITATION

Two residents reported that a known suspect kicked in the door to their home and stole an Apple laptop and a pellet gun between 7 p.m. and 9:50 p.m. in the 3500 block of Drexel Drive.

 

MAY 14

FAILURE TO LEAVE IDENTIFICATION

A 57-year-old resident reported that an unknown suspect struck his parked vehicle overnight in the 4500 block of Westway Avenue and did not leave identification.

BURGLARY OF VEHICLE

A 28-year-old resident reported that an unknown suspect entered his unlocked vehicle and stole several items including cash, prescription medication, a pair of sunglasses and a checkbook between 11 a.m. on May 13 and 9 a.m. on May 14 in the 3500 block of Normandy Avenue.
