The University Park City Council will consider adding the 4400 blocks of Druid Lane and Glenwick Lane to the city's residential parking district at its regular meeting at 5 p.m. on Tuesday in the City Hall Council Chamber.

In addition, the Council will also consider approving an agreement between the UP and SMU police departments to cooperate in criminal investigations, enforce laws, and "protect health, life and property from riot, disaster, threat of concealed explosives, unlawful assembly characterized by force and violence or threatened violence," according to the meeting's agenda.

Other agenda items that will be addressed at the meeting include:

• "a resolution denying the 2012 Atmos Energy rate increase request"
• "an Interlocal Agreement with the Town of Highland Park to construct shared water and sanitary sewer facilities"
• "bids received for reconstruction of certain streets"
