FRAUDULENT USE/POSSESSION OF IDENTIFYING INFO

A 45-year-old resident in the 2900 block of Southwestern Boulevard reported that an unknown suspect used his identity to file his income taxes with the IRS without his permission between Oct. 1 and Oct. 9.

OCT. 13

UNAUTHORIZED USE OF VEHICLE

A 39-year-old resident reported that an unknown suspect took a Lexus ES-350 from in front of her residence sometime between 7 p.m. on Oct. 12 and 7:30 a.m. on Oct. 13 in the 3600 block of Wentwood Drive.

FRAUDULENT USE/POSSESSION OF IDENTIFYING INFO

A 48-year-old resident in the 2600 block of Milton Avenue reported that an unknown suspect is continuing to remove mail from her porch and use credit cards to obtain cash from her account.

THEFT OF PROPERTY

An employee of a bank in the 6700 block of Preston Road reported that a suspect removed money from the business without consent on Sept. 4.

FRAUDULENT USE/POSSESSION OF IDENTIFYING INFO

A 59-year-old resident in the 2900 block of University Boulevard reported that unknown suspects obtained his personal information and filed his income taxes with the IRS without his consent sometime between March 1 and Oct. 9.

OCT. 14

BURGLARY OF VEHICLE

A 54-year-old resident reported that the third-row seats were stolen from his 2010 Chevrolet Suburban between 7:30 p.m. on Oct. 13 and 7:45 a.m. on Oct. 14 in the 3800 block of Southwestern Boulevard.

OCT. 15

BURGLARY OF VEHICLE

A 47-year-old resident reported that the third-row seats were stolen from her 2012 Chevrolet Suburban between 7 p.m. on Oct. 14 and 7 a.m. on Oct. 15 in the 4400 block of Potomac Avenue.

FORGERY OF FINANCIAL INSTRUMENT

A 42-year-old Dallas resident reported that a check in the amount of $3,650.50 had cleared the bank, but the check was forged and not authorized by the owners of the business in the 6700 block of Snider Plaza.

FRAUDULENT USE/POSSESSION OF IDENTIFYING INFO

A 50-year-old resident in the 4300 block of Shenandoah Avenue reported that an unknown person used her information to file a fraudulent tax return between Oct. 12 and Oct. 15.

OCT. 16

BURGLARY OF VEHICLE

A 49-year-old resident reported that an unknown suspect broke the passenger’s side window and removed her wallet from the front seat between 7:10 a.m. and 8:10 a.m. in the 6400 block of Lomo Alto Drive.

FRAUDULENT USE/POSSESSION OF IDENTIFYING INFO

A 59-year-old resident in the 3600 block of Southwestern Boulevard reported that an unknown suspect used his information to open a Speedy Cash account and obtain a loan without his consent.

OCT. 17

FAILURE TO COMPLY/STRIKING UNATTENDED VEHICLE

A resident reported that an unknown person backed into his vehicle and did not leave information sometime between 11 p.m. on Oct. 16 and 9:38 a.m. on Oct. 17 in the 3500 block of Southwestern Boulevard.

FAILURE TO GIVE INFORMATION/RENDER AID

A 28-year-old McKinney resident reported that an unknown suspect left the scene after a minor two-car accident in the 3800 block of University Boulevard. The suspect left a note apologizing for damage but left no contact information.

THEFT UNDER $100

A 24-year-old resident reported that an unknown suspect took cushions from a chair outside of her residence in the 4100 block of Lovers Lane.

OCT. 18

DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE BY A MINOR

A 29-year-old resident reported that she observed a male subject operating a vehicle cause an accident with a parked car in the 3600 block of Granada Avenue around 12:50 p.m. The subject attempted to leave the scene but was stopped by the residents who observed the accident. The subject was under the influence of alcohol and was arrested by UPPD.

BURGLARY OF BUILDING

A realtor reported that someone forced entry into a home for sale and took appliances sometime between Oct. 11 and Oct. 18 in the 4000 block of Stanford Avenue.

THEFT OF PROPERTY

A 41-year-old resident reported that his bicycle was stolen by an unknown person while he was shopping at CVS between 3:30 p.m. and 4:16 p.m. in the 6800 block of Snider Plaza.

BURGLARY OF VEHICLE

A 40-year-old resident reported that her vehicle was broken into and her purse was stolen around 4:29 p.m. in the 6400 block of Lomo Alto Drive.

BURGLARY OF VEHICLE

A 36-year-old Dallas resident reported that her vehicle was broken into and her purse was stolen between 4 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. in the 6400 block of Lomo Alto Drive.
