OCT. 19

CREDIT CARD ABUSE

A 65-year-old resident in the 2800 block of Westminster Avenue reported that she was scammed over the phone in the amount of $10,988.80 while seeking computer assistance between Oct. 15 and Oct. 19.

OCT. 20

BURGLARY OF VEHICLE

A 49-year-old resident reported that an unknown suspect entered his 2008 Chevrolet Tahoe and stole the third-row seats and a tennis bag overnight in the 4100 block of Hyer Avenue.

BURGLARY OF VEHICLE

A 45-year-old resident reported that the third-row seats and an iPhone were stolen from her 2011 GMC Yukon XL overnight in the 4100 block of Grassmere Lane.

BURGLARY OF VEHICLE

A 45-year-old Dallas resident reported that his 2007 Nissan Exterra was broken into and a bag containing $3,000 cash and a laptop was stolen around 9:50 a.m. in the 6900 block of Preston Road.

BURGLARY OF VEHICLE

A 62-year-old resident reported that his 2007 Chevrolet Tahoe was broken into overnight and the third-row seats were stolen in the 4400 block of Windsor Parkway.

FRAUD

A 50-year-old resident in the 4000 block of Stanford Avenue reported fraud regarding a Craigslist sale occurring between Oct. 10 and Oct. 20.

BURGLARY OF VEHICLE

A 45-year-old resident reported that the third-row seats were stolen from his 2008 Chevrolet Suburban overnight in the 4400 block of University Boulevard.

OCT. 21

BURGLARY OF BUILDING

A 68-year-old Leander resident reported that unknown suspects entered her vacant home using a key meant for Realtor use and stole two TVs and a washer/dryer set sometime between Oct. 14 and Oct. 20 in the 3300 block of Marquette Street.

FRAUDULENT USE/POSSESSION OF IDENTIFYING INFO

A 66-year-old resident in the 4000 block of Grassmere Lane reported that unknown suspects used his personal identifying information without his consent on Oct. 8.

OCT. 22

FRAUDULENT USE/POSSESSION OF IDENTIFYING INFO

A 54-year-old resident in the 3400 block of Wentwood Drive reported that an unknown suspect used his personal information and attempted to wire funds from an account in San Antonio on Oct. 16.

OCT. 23

THEFT OF PROPERTY

A 53-year-old resident reported that a boys bike was taken from the school bike rack without consent between 8 a.m. and 3:15 p.m. on Oct. 20.

ACCIDENT INVOLVING DAMAGE TO VEHICLE

A 44-year-old resident reported that an unknown suspect hit her vehicle and left without providing information around 11 p.m. in the 6200 block of Hillcrest Avenue.
