On Friday, October 30, UP Elementary held its annual Pumpkin Day. Pumpkin Day has been a tradition at UP since 1969. While typically held on the school’s front lawn, due to inclement weather, the hallways were lined with hundreds of creative, fun, and uniquely decorated pumpkins. Everything from Mo Willems’ famous pigeon to Frosty the Snowman were on display. The students participated in the annual pumpkin walk and enjoyed lunch with family and friends in the cafeteria. Parent readers dressed up in costumes to read stories to classes throughout the day. A special thank you to Marlin Landscaping for decorating the front entrance of UP.
