On Thursday, October 27, University Park Elementary held its annual Pumpkin Day, a school tradition since 1969. From gumball machines to live fish swimming in a "pumpkin fishtank" - a variety of creative, fun and uniquely decorated pumpkins lined the sidewalks near the front entrance of the school. The students enjoyed a DJ, had a picnic lunch on the front lawn with friends and family, and parents dressed up in costumes and read stories to the kids’ classes. A big Panther thank you to our sponsors Complete Landsculpture and In-N-Out Burger for making our picnic a huge success and to UP Pumpkin Day Chairs, Meredith Noble, Annie Stock and Natalie Sharpe for making this family tradition a good time for all!
