Admission
If your condition requires hospitalization, Highland Park Emergency Center will provide you with no hassle, uninterrupted care while transferring you to a nearby inpatient hospital. We will work with your primary physician during this transfer. However, if you do not have a primary care doctor, our team has established relationships with local hospitals and doctors to provide hospital care for you. Should you require hospitalization, you will be directly admitted to a hospital room, bypassing their busy emergency room. We will also arrange, if necessary, the care for an emergency procedure (such as emergent surgery for appendicitis) by contacting the appropriate specialist.
