THEFT OF PROPERTY

A 57-year-old resident told police that holiday decorations valued at approximately $300 were stolen from the front yard between 11 p.m. on Dec. 15 and 3:30 p.m. on Dec. 16 in the 4400 block of Normandy Ave.

DECEMBER 17

THEFT OF PROPERTY

A 33-year-old resident reported that a diamond ring valued at approximately $45,000 was taken from inside her home between 8 p.m. on Dec. 11 and 7 p.m. on Dec. 12 in the 3200 block of Centenary Drive.

DECEMBER 18

BURGLARY OF HABITATION (ATTEMPT ONLY)

A 79-year-old resident told police that an unknown suspect attempted to break into his residence by prying the rear outside window at 11:28 a.m. on Dec. 18 in the 4200 block of Shenandoah Ave.

THEFT OF PROPERTY (MOTOR VEHICLE PARTS/ACCESSORIES)

A 56-year-old resident reported that an unknown suspect stole the catalytic converter from under his vehicle between 6 p.m. on Dec. 14 and 9 a.m. on Dec. 18 in the 4100 block of Stanhope Drive.

DECEMBER 19

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF/VANDALISM

A 39-year-old Dallas resident told police that unknown suspects tried to steal the wheels off a vehicle, while rolled backwards and hit another vehicle causing damage between 2 p.m. and 2:01 p.m. on Dec. 19 in the 3300 block of Hanover Street.

FRAUDULENT USE/POSSESSION OF IDENTIFYING INFO

A 56-year-old Sunnyvale resident reported that someone used his bank account information between Nov. 2 and Dec. 18 in the 3000 block of Mockingbird Lane.

DECEMBER 20  

SILENT ABUSIVE CALLS TO 911 SERVICE

An unknown male subject made abusive calls to the City of University Park’s 911 operations center between 9:11 a.m. and 9:17 a.m. on Dec. 20 in the 3800 block of University Blvd.

ONLINE IMPERSONATION

A 61-year-old resident told police that an unknown suspect attempted to use his personal information between 8:13 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. on Dec. 20 in the 4300 block of San Carlos Drive.

THEFT UNDER $50

A 67-year-old resident reported that a package was stolen from her front porch between 6:36 p.m. and 7:10 p.m. on Dec. 19 in the 3600 block of Hanover Street.

THEFT OF PROPERTY (EMBEZZLEMENT)

A 49-year-old McKinney resident told police that a Petco employee was stealing items from the store and returning them at different locations at 2:49 p.m. on Dec. 10 in the 4300 block of Lovers Lane.

FRAUDULENT USE/POSSESSION OF IDENTIFYING INFORMATION

A 21-year-old Dallas resident reported that an unknown suspect opened a credit account using her information on Dec. 19 in the 3900 block of Windsor Ave.

AGGRAVATED ROBBERY WITH A FIREARM 

A 64-year-old resident told police that an unknown suspect approached he and his wife in their driveway, displayed a semi-automatic handgun and pointed the handgun at both victims, demanding their wallet and purse at 10:58 p.m. on Dec. 20 in the 3800 block of Centenary Drive. The suspect was described at 6 foot, black male, 150-170 pounds, wearing a ski mask, and a vehicle could be heard speeding from the area.

THEFT OF PROPERTY

A 49-year-old resident reported that an unknown person took three bicycles valued at approximately $1,150 from the victim’s open garage between 11 a.m. on Dec. 21 and 9:11 a.m. on Dec. 22 in the 4100 block of Normandy Ave.
