FAILURE TO LEAVE IDENTIFICATION

A 26-year-old Dallas resident reported that an unknown suspect struck his vehicle and failed to leave identification at the scene at 5:28 p.m. on Nov. 4 in the 4500 block of Abbott Ave.

NOVEMBER 5

BURGLARY OF HABITATION/THEFT OF A FIREARM

A 57-year-old resident told police that an unknown suspect broke into his home through a set of French doors and stole an Apple Mac computer, two laptops, keys for a 2005 Porsche, a Chanel purse, a shotgun, two handguns, a pair of diamond earrings and three small safes containing $7,000 cash between 6 and 6:10 p.m. on Nov. 5 in the 3400 block of Lindenwood Ave.

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF

A 45-year-old resident reported that an unknown suspect broke into his vehicle and removed $20 cash between 10 p.m. on Nov. 5 and 7:10 a.m. on Nov. 6 in the 4300 block of Fairfax Ave.

BURGLARY OF A MOTOR VEHICLE

A 63-year-old resident told police that an unknown suspect broke into her vehicle and rifled through the glove compartment but took nothing between 6 p.m. on Nov. 5 and 9 a.m. on Nov. 6 in the 4200 block of Versailles Ave.

IDENTITY THEFT

A 50-year-old resident reported that she had been a victim of identity theft between Oct. 30 and Nov. 7 in the 4400 block of Rheims Place.

IDENTITY THEFT

A 32-year-old resident told police that he has received several fraudulent checks between Oct. 11 and Nov. 9.

NOVEMBER 10

BURGLARY OF HABITATION

A 77-year-old Dallas resident reported that a pantry unit was stolen in her home while she was moving to a retirement home between Nov. 1 and Nov. 4 in the 4500 block of Arcady Ave.

DAMAGE TO TOWN PROPERTY

The Town of Highland Park reported that an unknown suspect struck a “No Trucks” sign at 3:09 p.m. on Nov. 11 in the 3400 block of Mockingbird Lane.
