Both HP Senior Wrestling Captain Michael Thornton and Junior Wrestling Stand-Out Stephen Dieb placed second at the 2015 UIL Region 2 - 6A Boys Wrestling Regional Championships in Allen this past weekend.
Dieb was second in the 145 pound weight class and Thornton was second in the 195 pound weight class.
Both wrestlers will advance to the 2015 UIL 6A Boys State Wrestling Championship at the Curtiss Culwell Center in Garland this Friday, February 20 and Saturday, February 21.
