"We are very proud to be the 2012 4A State Cross Country Champions," Head Coach Jerry Sutterfield said.  "What a day! The wind was whipping up to 35 mph, dust was blowing, and the temperature was hot - 82 degrees! These were very tough race conditions, and I am very proud of the team for staying focused and running so well. There was great competition - there are no snails at State - and we had to run our very best just to be in the top four. It was a great day!"

The boys team finished in fourth place, led by Rico Lara in 30th place, Griffin Beitter in 41st and Adam Rathjen in 52nd.
