The Lady Scots gymnastics team competed in the Toys for Tots Invitational hosted by L.D. Bell High School Dec. 5. 

Competing against 18 teams from across the Metroplex, the Lady Scots notched the second highest team total and finished just behind L.D. Bell with a 115.45 score.

The Lady Scots beat their best compulsory team total from last season by two full points, raising the bar for the upcoming season.

Senior Captain and 2012 State All-Around Champion Arielle Iola continued her domination by winning the all-around and two events, bars and beam.  She placed second on vault and floor.  Click HERE to read more.

The HPHS boys varsity gymnastics team competed at the Lakeview Centennial Invitational Nov. 29. Meyer Williams remained undefeated in the all-around with two perfect 10s, two 9.9s, and two 9.8s, for an aggregate score of 59.4 out of 60.

It was a great start to the season for the JV team. Bubba Bunten won the all-around and three events. Keegan Black won vault, Bowie Wynne won parallel bars and Griff Brown won floor.
