University Park, Texas (Oct. 2-8)

OCTOBER 2

Vehicle Burglary
A 43-year-old resident of Highland Park reported that he went to a "High School game" then to Banditos in Snider Plaza between 6:00 p.m. and 8:15 p.m. on Oct. 1, and sometime during that period his briefcase, containing a laptop, Apple iPod Nano and other electronics, was stolen out of his 2007 Chevrolet Tahoe.

Vehicle Burglary
A 26-year-old resident of Dallas reported that someone broke into his 2012 Dodge Avenger and stole a backpack, containing a laptop and other miscellaneous items, between 1:15 p.m. and 1:45 p.m. in the 3000 block of Mockingbird Lane.

Fraud
A 24-year-old resident, who lives in the 3400 block of McFarlin Boulevard, reported that an unknown person stole her "identifying information and used it" between Feb. 1 and Oct. 2.

OCTOBER 3

Fraud
A 59-year-old resident, who lives in the 3900 block of Lovers Lane, reported that he "received several credit card statements for accounts that he did not open" between Sept. 24 and Sept. 29.

Fraud
A 58-year-old resident, who lives in the 3400 block of Westminster Avenue, reported that his bank account number was used in forged checks between Sept. 29 and Oct. 3.

OCTOBER 4

Habitation Burglary
Two unknown people who had bandannas over their faces walked onto a 46-year-old resident's property, and then one of the people entered the house through a side window while the other served as the lookout at 3:15 p.m. in the 3300 block of Rankin Avenue. The homeowner's 17-year-old daughter was at residence during the incident, but nothing was stolen from the home.

Criminal Mischief
A 41-year-old resident reported that her 2006 Land Rover and 2009 Volvo S80 were damaged between midnight and 7:30 a.m. while they were parked in the 3400 block of Amherst Street.

OCTOBER 5

Theft
A 61-year-old resident reported that property was stolen from her residence between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. in the 3700 block of Purdue Street.

Theft
A 52-year-old resident reported that her daughter had to put her $1,000 Louis Vuitton billfold, containing checks, $80 cash, an identification card and other miscellaneous items, in a bin while taking a test at Highland Park High School, and an unknown person stole it between 1:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. in the 4200 block of Emerson Avenue.

Criminal Trespass on School Grounds
Several juveniles were found by officers on the roof of Highland Park Middle School at 9:51 p.m. in the 3500 block of Granada Avenue, and they were released to their parents.

Harassment
A 45-year-old resident, who lives in the 6100 block of Golf Drive, reported that she received harassing emails.

Striking Unattended Vehicle
A 35-year-old resident reported that a 2007 Cadillac Escalade struck his 2009 Chevrolet Malibu while it was parked at 11:52 p.m. in the 6500 block of Golf Drive, but the driver of the Escalade did not leave any information at the scene.

OCTOBER 6

Vehicle Burglary
A 28-year-old resident reported that a $1,700 bicycle, $200 front bicycle wheel, $20 billfold, $700 cash and a driver's license were stolen out of his 2010 Subaru Forester between 2:30 a.m. and 8 a.m. in the 4400 block of Glenwick Lane.

Theft
A 49-year-old resident reported that an unknown person stole $25 of his property between 9:30 p.m. Oct. 5 and 7:45 a.m. Oct. 6 in the 4000 block of Stanford Avenue.

OCTOBER 7

Vehicle Burglary
A 36-year-old resident reported that the third-row seat was stolen out of his 2008 Chevrolet Suburban between 9 p.m. Oct. 6 and 7:30 a.m. Oct. 7 in the 4400 block of Purdue Street.

Criminal Mischief
A 39-year-old resident reported that a pumpkin was thrown at his 2010 Mercedes Benz GL, breaking a window and denting a door, between 5 p.m. Oct. 6 and 9 a.m. Oct. 7 in the 3500 block of Hanover Street.

Criminal Mischief
A 23-year-old resident of Dallas reported that a rear window of her 2007 GMC Yukon was broken between 11 p.m. Oct. 6 and 9 a.m. Oct. 7 in the 3700 block of Hanover Street.

OCTOBER 8

Vehicle Burglary
A 47-year-old resident reported that someone broke into her 2001 Lexus while it was parked on the street between 9 p.m. Oct. 5 and 8 a.m. Oct. 6 in the 4300 block of Amherst Street.
