OCTOBER 9

Theft
A 42-year-old resident of Mesquite reported that two people entered a CVS Pharmacy store at 7 a.m. in the 6700 block of Preston Road and stole $27.99 worth of diapers and $100 worth of other items.

Striking Unattended Vehicle
A 46-year-old resident reported that his 2007 GMC Yukon XL was struck by another vehicle between 12:01 a.m. and 8 a.m. Oct. 6 while it was parked in the 4300 block of Stanhope Drive, but no information was left at the scene.

OCTOBER 9

Habitation Burglary
A 46-year-old resident reported that someone entered her house, which was unlocked, and stole a watch between 2:41 p.m. and 2:42 p.m. in the 3500 block of Greenbrier Drive.

Vehicle Burglary
A 45-year-old resident reported that an unknown person entered his 2008 Volvo XC90 and stole a DVD player, laptop computer, $250 worth of software and Ray Ban Aviator sunglasses between 4 p.m. Oct. 8 and 1 p.m. Oct. 9 in the 4400 block of Druid Lane.

Vehicle Burglary
A 29-year-old resident reported that an unknown person entered her 2004 Toyota 4Runner and went through the center console between 5 p.m. Oct. 8 and 6:15 a.m. Oct. 9 in the 4300 block of Glenwick Lane.

Vehicle Burglary
A 50-year-old resident reported that an unknown person entered her unlocked 2004 GMC Yukon and stole $205 worth of property between 4:15 p.m. Oct. 7 and 7:15 a.m. Oct. 9 in the 4300 block of Glenwick Lane.

OCTOBER 11

Striking Fixture/Highway Landscape
An SMU police officer lost sight of a 2011 BMW, which he was chasing around 3:50 a.m., but later found the vehicle after it had crashed into a tree in the 2900 block of Westminster Avenue, but the driver had left the scene.

Fraud
A 45-year-old resident, who lives in the 3900 block of Wentwood Drive, reported that someone fraudulently used his social security information to create an account between April 1 and Oct. 4.

OCTOBER 12

Fraud
A 71-year-old resident, who lives in the 4000 block of Shannon Lane, reported that a suspect used his "personal information and banking instruments without permission" between Oct. 9 and Oct. 12.

Theft
A 46-year-old resident reported that an inflatable Halloween decoration was stolen from his front yard between 9:15 p.m. Oct. 10 and 5 a.m. Oct. 11 in the 3300 block of Rankin Avenue.

OCTOBER 13

Fraud
A 27-year-old resident, who lives in the 6900 block of Vassar Drive, reported that an unknown person used his personal information to "obtain property on credit" on Aug. 6.

Building Burglary
A 62-year-old resident reported that an unknown person stole a washer, dryer and refrigerator from an unoccupied condo between noon Oct. 9 and 11 a.m. Oct. 13 in the 3400 block of Rosedale Avenue.

Harassment
A 49-year-old resident, who lives in the 3600 block of Asbury Avenue, reported that she has received numerous calls and texts from a suspect.

Theft
Three cases of beer were reported stolen at 10:41 p.m. from the Shell Service Station in the 4400 block of Lovers Lane.

OCTOBER 14

Vehicle Burglary
A 17-year-old resident reported that someone broke into his 2006 Ford Escape and stole a radio, Apple iPod and a pair of tennis shoes between 12:01 a.m. and noon in the 3100 block of Westminster Avenue.

Theft
A 62-year-old resident of Colleyville reported that her $500 Louis Vuitton purse, containing 20 credit cards, a checkbook, a money order and an Apple iPhone, was stolen by an unknown person between 3:50 p.m. and 3:55 p.m. from a restaurant in the 8300 block of Preston Center Plaza.

Theft
A six-pack of beer was reported stolen at 9:58 p.m. from the Chevron Service Station in the 8400 block of Preston Road.

OCTOBER 15

Theft
A 29-year-old resident of Dallas reported that a "Host Carpet Cleaning machine was rented and not returned" from All Vac Dallas, located in the 4400 block of Lovers Lane.

Theft
A 52-year-old resident reported that two pairs of women's pants valued at a total of $494 were stolen from La Marque in the 4300 block of Lovers Lane.
