The Scots walked off the field with another victory after a Thursday night matchup at Mesquite Memorial Stadium—this time over the West Mesquite Wranglers

Coach Randy Allen's team proved once again their District 10-4A dominance in the Scots' seventh game of the season, racking up 35 points over West Mesquite's 14.

The Wranglers hosted HPHS Thursday coming off a three-game win streak but weren't able to contain junior quarterback Brooks Burgin, as he rushed for 101 yards and three touchdowns on top of his 220 passing yards and two touchdowns.

The Scots have only three games left to round out the 2013 season—Carrollton Creekview, Newman Smith and Terrell. They'll take on the 4-2 Creekview Mustangs at home next Friday, Oct. 25 at 7:30 p.m.
