The Highlander Band will host BBQ with the Band dinner and auction, in conjunction with the Tenth Annual Blue Out, on Oct. 11 at the Highland Park High School Cafeteria.  BBQ is generously provided by local favorite Peggy Sue BBQ, located in Snider Plaza. Local jazz band “The Dixie Scots,” along with the Highlander Band Drum Line, will provide musical entertainment during the event. Auction items will include Fabulous Raffle Baskets such as “Glad for Plaid” which honors your favorite HPISD employee. A sampling of our Silent Auction:

The auction and dinner will take place from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., with take-out service available from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. in the teacher parking lot off Douglas Avenue. Dinner and raffle tickets, Blue Out T-shirts (sponsored by Southern Botanical, Allie Beth Allman, Forrester and Co., and Miller Grass), and donations can be arranged through any Highlander Band member, or you can access information through the band website www.hphsband.com, by clicking on the “Blue Out” button. Tickets and t-shirts will also be available at the door.
