It’s not Christmas yet, but people in Dallas are already making plans to attend the annual Children’s Medical Center Holiday Parade. This year’s parade is Dec. 7, 2013, and tickets go on sale Tuesday, Oct. 1 for reserved and VIP seating along the Parade route. The 2013 Parade is presented by Pizza Hut, and funds raised benefit Children’s Medical Center.

This year, the Children’s Medical Center Holiday Parade returns to its original route in downtown Dallas, which has been extended to include additional seating along Commerce Street. Parade performances will begin in front of The Adolphus Hotel on Commerce Street, and the parade will then make its way down Commerce to wind around Harwood and Young Streets and conclude on Marilla in front of City Hall. Reserved bleacher seating is available to accommodate more than 11,000 Parade attendees. Ticket prices range from $25 to $120 per seat. Plenty of free seating is available along the Parade route, and it is advised to plan to arrive early to stake out a favorable spot. To purchase reserved seating, please click here.

Parade-goers will enjoy the holiday spirit of the parade that will feature giant inflatables representing kids’ favorite characters, marching bands, clowns and much more at the event on Saturday, Dec. 7 from 10 to 11 a.m. For a complete route map, please click here.
