There are few things better than relaxing and watching a movie. Except maybe relaxing and watching a
movie in the pool on a warm summer night.

Now that the City of University Park's Dive-In Movie series is back at Holmes Aquatic Center, you and your family members can do just that for three Saturday evenings before school is back in session.

The series will kick off with the story of everyone's favorite clown fish, "Finding Nemo" on July 20. On August 3, Holmes will show the classic "Free Willy," and the series wraps up with the baseball flick "The Sandlot" August 24.

All movie screenings are free, but you've got to be a UP resident or live within HPISD limits to join the fun. Come in your best suit because attendees are encouraged to watch from the pool. No need to bring food—the pool snack bar will be open for each movie night. The City will have lifeguards working the series, but you're asked to accompany all children under 13.

Moviegoers may arrive as early as 8:45 p.m. to grab their favorite spot in the water, and the movies begin at 9:15 p.m.

The Holmes Aquatic Center is located at 3501 Lovers Lane.
