A University Park resident who lives in the 3900 block of Centenary Drive sent us a photo of fireworks that were set off in the street near her home by an unknown suspect.
A reader contacted us and said her son heard what sounded like "gunshots" outside of their home around 9:30 p.m. Sunday in the 3900 block of Centenary Drive in University Park.
They and their neighbors, who went outside after hearing the sounds, discovered a large box of potentially dangerous fireworks that had been set off in the street by an unknown suspect. The police were called and took a report of the situation at the scene.
This is not an isolated incident because BubbleLife has received other reports of fireworks going off in the Park Cities recently.
Have you heard any fireworks go off near your home?
