Property Theft
A 21-year-old resident reported the theft of a silver 2011 Schwinn Sidewinder bicycle from his second floor residence in the 3500 block of Normandy Avenue.

OCTOBER 13

Damage to Town Property
Around 4:30 a.m., an officer noticed a "Town of Highland Park truck zone sign" laying on the ground and found what appeared to be a piece of a vehicle's undercarriage at the intersection of Mockingbird Lane and Hillcrest Avenue.

OCTOBER 14

Home Burglary
Around 9:30 p.m., an alarm went off and notified police at a residence in the 4300 block of Armstrong Parkway, which was previously robbed on Oct 5. Suspects may have used a ladder that was found at the location to climb onto a second-floor balcony and break a window with a brick to gain entrance into the home but did not take any property.

OCTOBER 16

Car Burglary
A 61-year-old Houston resident reported that someone stole golf clubs out of his Chevy Tahoe by breaking a rear-lift window between 6:30 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. in the 4500 block of Westside Drive.

OCTOBER 17

Found Property
Around 12:20 a.m., a Red Rallye child's bicycle was found with its chain detached in the roadway in the 4400 block of Rheims Place.
