The Highland Park hockey program is having a major fundraiser this weekend to cover coaching and ice time fees.

The hockey teams will be hosting a multi-family yard sale from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on April 7 in the Radisson Hotel's parking lot, across from SMU.

Items that will be sold at the garage sale include clothes, garden decor, furniture and more. The event will be staffed by players on the varsity and junior varsity squads.

Highland Park's varsity team finished in fourth place at the 2012 city playoffs, and the junior varsity team is still continuing its season. Click here to find out more information about the hockey program.
