The public will have an opportunity to voice opinions about the proposed plans to rebuild the Park Cities YMCA during a meeting at University Park City Hall this afternoon.

The UP Planning and Zoning Commission is hosting a public hearing about the Y's detailed site plans at 5 p.m. tonight in the City Hall Council Chamber.

The proposed plans include underground parking, two pools, a gymnasium and more. Some local residents have concerns that the plans may cause traffic and parking issues to worsen in the area. Click here for more information about the plans and to see renderings of the proposed project.
