JUNE 26

Fraud
A 55-year-old resident, who lives in the 3500 block of Rankin Avenue, reported that an unknown person tried using her email addresses to close a bank account.

Striking Unattended Vehicle
A 36-year-old resident reported that an unknown vehicle struck her 1998 Honda Civic, causing damage, but the driver did not stop and leave information at the scene between 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. in a parking lot in the 4000 block of Villanova Drive.

Vehicle Burglary
A 24-year-old resident reported that an unknown person broke into her vehicle and stole $180 in property in the 3200 block of Wentwood Drive.

JUNE 27

Parking Violation
A 2004 Ford F250 was impounded for a 24-hour violation in the 7100 block of Armstrong Parkway.

Burglary
A 56-year-old resident reported that an unknown person attempted to break into his house by prying a window and breaking glass on the rear door at 4:23 a.m. in the 4300 block of Shenandoah Avenue.

Theft
A 62-year-old resident, who lives in the 2800 block of Westminster Avenue, reported that two hubcaps were stolen off her 2009 Nissan Versa at different times — the first was stolen about three months ago and the other about one week ago.

Vehicle Burglary
A 19-year-old resident of Dallas reported that an unknown person broke a passenger side window of her 2006 Honda Accord and stole a MacBook laptop at 8:35 p.m. in the 3000 block of Mockingbird Lane.

JUNE 28

Assault
A 64-year-old resident reported that he was walking his dog when an unknown person assaulted him at 7:45 a.m. in the 3000 block of Daniel Avenue.

Credit/Debit Card Abuse
A 25-year-old resident, who lives in the 3400 block of Southwestern Boulevard, reported that an unknown person opened a credit card in her name and made charges on the account.

Parking Violation
A trailer was abandoned at the corner of Hursey Street and Lovers Lane between noon on June 27 and 7:35 p.m. on June 28 and was towed by Walnut Hill Wrecker.

Theft
A 47-year-old resident of Dallas reported that someone entered the JoS. A. Bank Clothiers store in The Plaza at Preston Center and stole six sweaters valued at $654 and eight shirts valued at $1,080 off the front shelf and fled at 8:20 p.m. in the 4000 block of Northwest Parkway.

JUNE 30

Theft
An unknown person stole a carton of cigarettes at 1:15 p.m. from the counter of a CVS store in the 6700 block of Preston Road.

Theft
A 55-year-old resident of Dallas reported that an unknown person stole her wallet from her purse between 2:30 p.m. and 4 p.m. in the 3000 block of Mockingbird Lane.

JULY 1

Burglary
A 53-year-old resident reported that an unknown person entered the detached garage at her residence and stole a bicycle, weed eater, leaf blower and edger between 8 a.m. on June 24 and 6 p.m. on June 25 in the 3700 block of Lovers Lane.
