Here's a tip for Park Cities residents who commonly drive on Beverly Drive near the Dallas Country Club: Roadwork has begun on Beverly Drive from Fairfield Avenue to Lakeside Drive, which has temporarily closed that portion of the street, so anyone who tries to drive on the road in that area will be forced to take a detour.
According to the Town of Highland Park, the purpose of the construction is to improve the street, curb, gutter and storm sewer.
