Turtle Creek Lane Halloween Tree

For the first time, Jennifer Houghton of Turtle Creek Lane, will host a fall tour and holiday décor sale, which will take place at the Houghton’s home beginning September 29th with an exclusive sneak peek and shopping opportunity. “I am so excited about this event because all proceeds raised will go directly to purchase much-needed furniture for Genesis Women’s Shelter transitional residential facility,” said Jennifer Houghton, Turtle Creek Lane Founder.

Nearly 500 women and children call the Genesis safe campus their home each year, while an additional 800 women and children visit the non-residential office for counseling services. Genesis focuses on creating a world without domestic violence and gives women and children in abusive situations a path to lead independent and safe lives. One in four women in the Unites States – and one in three in Texas – will be directly impacted by domestic violence in their lifetime.Because there is no such thing as a ‘typical victim,’ she could be the woman you see at the grocery store, your child’s teacher, your sister or your daughter. "I’m dedicated to ending violence against ALL women, and I hope you’ll join me by attending this event and sharing with your friends,” added Houghton.

Event details are as follows:

  • VIP First Look, Friday, September 29, 6:00 - 9:00 PM, $100 - A limited number of tickets are available for an exclusive sneak peek and shop opportunity. Guests will enjoy complimentary appetizers, drinks and valet parking with a chance to win a festive Halloween tree created by Houghton.
