SEPTEMBER 24

UNAUTHORIZED USE OF VEHICLE 

A victim stated that an unknown person took his vehicle without permission while it was parked in a parking garage in the 3400 block of Normandy Avenue. The vehicle was last seen at 9:00 AM on September 24 and was discovered missing at 11:00 PM that night. 


SEPTEMBER 26

THEFT OF PROPERTY 

The reporting person stated that two suspects attempted to exit a convenience store in the 3000 block of Mockingbird Lane without paying for the merchandise they took. The incident occurred at approximately 4:40 PM. 

FRAUDULENT USE OF IDENTIFYING INFORMATION 

At 7:55 PM, an officer was dispatched to a resident in the 3100 block of Caruth Boulevard in regards to an Identity Theft report. The victim stated that an unknown person used his identifying information to open an account and purchase property without consent. 


SEPTEMBER 27

BURGLARY OF VEHICLE 

An unknown suspect forced entry into a victim's vehicle and stole the third-row seats while it was parked in the 4100 block of Stanford Avenue. The theft occurred between 9:15 PM on September 26 and 8:00 AM the next morning.

An unknown suspect forced entry into the victim's vehicle and attempted to steal the third-row seats while it was parked in the 4100 block of Stanford Avenue. The theft attempt occurred between 8:00 PM on September 26 and 8:00 AM the next morning. 

BURGLARY OF BUILDING

An unknown person entered a school in the 4200 block of Emerson Avenue without authorization and took property without permission. A Texas flag is missing from the front reception area. 


SEPTEMBER 28

ABANDONMENT/ENDANGERMENT OF CHILD 

A subject stated that his ex-wife was endangering their child at 5:33 PM. 

POSSESSION OF DANGEROUS DRUG 

A subject was arrested for public intoxication in the 8100 block of Preston Road at approximately 10:57 PM. 


SEPTEMBER 29

ROBERRY WITH FIREARM 

A victim advised subjects were breaking into his car at approximately 1:49 AM. When the victim confronted the thieves, they produced firearms and made threats. Officers later located the subjects and after a short vehicle pursuit, which ended in a crash, the three suspects were taken into custody. 

BURGLARY OF VEHICLE 

A pair of sunglasses was taken from an unlocked vehicle parked in the 3400 block of Stanford Avenue at some point during the night. 

BURGLARY OF VEHICLE 

A bag of change was stolen from a vehicle parked in the 3500 block of Stanford Avenue at some point during the night. 

BURGLARY OF VEHICLE 

An unknown person unlawfully entered a victim's vehicle and stole a laptop and some other property while it was parked in the 3200 Block of Stanford Avenue. The incident occurred between 8:30 PM on September 28 and 8:00 AM the next morning. 

TERRORISTIC THREAT - IMPAIRMENT OF PUBLIC/GOVERNMENT SERVICE 

A suspect threatened an Atomos Energy employee for attempting to turn off the gas due to non-payment. The threat occurred in the 3700 block of Grenada Avenue at approximately 3:00 PM. 

THEFT OF PROPERTY 

A Rolex was stolen from a 59-year-old victim in the 3000 block of Lovers Lane between September 6 and September 9. 

FRAUDULENT USE OF IDENTIFYING INFORMATION 

An unknown suspect used a victim's identifying information to withdraw funds from his Equity Institutional retirement account on June 7. The victim, who lives in the 3300 block of Amherst Street, discovered the theft and reported it. 

THEFT OF PROPERTY 

A victim called the police and stated that someone took his Cadillac Escalade from the parking lot at 8300 Preston Road. The theft was discovered at 6:00 PM. 

THEFT OF FIREARM FROM MOTOR VEHICLE

A victim reported that a suspect took a pistol out of his truck while it was parked in the 3800 block of Hanover Street. The theft occurred between 9:00 PM on September 27 and 6:52 PM on September 29. 


SEPTEMBER 30 

BURGLARY OF BUILDING 

An unknown person broke the glass out of the door to a store in the 6800 block of Snider Plaza and stole several items off the shelves. The theft occurred between 4:30 AM and 5:41 AM. 

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF 

At some point during the night, an unknown person stole the Mercedes medallion off the left front wheel of a victim's vehicle while it was parked in the driveway of their residence in the 2700 block of Amherst Street. The homeowners' cameras may have possibly captured the theft when it occurred.  

BURGLARY OF VEHICLE

A 21-year-old victim stated that an unknown person entered his vehicle and stole his backpack while it was parked in the 2800 block of Milton Avenue. The incident occurred between 9:30 PM on September 29 and 9:30 AM the next morning.
