A Fashion's Night Out event happened Thursday evening at Tootsies in the Plaza at Preston Center, which was hosted by Tootsies and bloggers Jen Smith of Blank White Frames, Courtney Edwards of Where Wear in the City and Genniva Bruce of the Somewear To Be.

Fashion's Night Out is an annual global event, which was established in 2009 to "celebrate fashion, restore consumer confidence and boost the industry’s economy during the recession," according to the event's Facebook page.

At the Fashion's Night Out event at Toosties, fashion was showcased, micro boutiques were curated by the host bloggers and there was a best dressed guest contest, among other festivities.
