Parents of Armstrong Elementary School students will have an opportunity on Thursday to look at classroom lists, meet with teachers and even purchase meals from food trucks.

Armstrong is having its "Find Your Place in the Eagle's Nest" event on Aug. 22 at the elementary school.

At the special back-to-school event, class lists will be posted at 5 p.m., and teachers will be available for meet-and-greets from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m.

In addition, a variety of food trucks will be parked on Byron Avenue near the school from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. during the event, so attendees can enjoy "Dinner at the Nest."

Here is a list of food trucks that will be at the event:

  • The Butcher's Son, which serves quesadillas, sandwiches and sliders.

  • Coolhaus, which has ice cream sandwiches.

  • Gandolfo's NY Deli, which has been featured on the Food Network, and sells hot dogs and a variety of sandwiches with fresh bread that is made each morning.

  • Greenhouse, which offers made-from-scratch healthy food by executive chef Ben Hutchison, who was formerly of Food Company, Star Canyon and Routh Street.

  • Ruthie's Rolling Café, which offers grilled cheese sandwiches.

  • Ruthie's Cheesesteak Café, which serves cheesesteak sandwiches.

  • Ssahm BBQ, which has Korean tacos, quesadillas and kimchee fries.
