AUGUST 29 

THEFT OF PROPERTY 

At approximately 9:00 AM, police officers were notified of a reported theft in the 4500 block of Arcady Avenue. The victim stated that between 8:30 PM the night before and 7:30 AM the next morning, an unknown suspect unlawfully appropriated the side mirrors of his Yukon without consent.  

BURGLARY OF A VEHICLE 

Police responded to a call stating that a vehicle burglary had occurred overnight in the 4500 block of Arcady Avenue. The victim stated that her son's vehicle, which is registered under her name, had its third-row seat unlawfully taken. 


AUGUST 30 

THEFT OF PROPERTY 

Police responded to a report of a stolen vehicle in the block of 5500 Hillcrest Road. The victim stated that she and another family member were running a catering event in the 3300 block of Mockingbird Lane when one of their vehicles went missing. 

BURGLARY OF A VEHICLE 

At approximately 8:00 PM, a police officer responded to a walk-in report in the station lobby at 4700 Drexel Drive. The victim stated that on August 9, between 10:15 and 10:30 AM, an unknown suspect had accessed her vehicle while it was parked in the 3700 block of Lexington Avenue. The suspect removed property without consent, including her credit and debit cards. The person withdrew thousands of dollars from the victim's account before she could freeze it. 


AUGUST 31 

THEFT OF PROPERTY 

At approximately 8:16 AM, police officers were dispatched to the 4500 block of Rolland Avenue in response to a reported stolen tailgate. The victim stated that he parked his vehicle at approximately 7:00 PM the evening before, but when he returned at approximately 7:30 the next morning, the tailgate was missing. 

THEFT OF PROPERTY 

Police were dispatched to the Highland Park Shopping Village in response to a reported theft at approximately 4:10 PM. The victim and store manager described an unknown suspect who entered the store, asked to see a bag, and then left without paying for it. 


SEPTEMBER 3

CRIMINAL MISCHIEF

At approximately 10:57 AM, police officers were dispatched to the 3200 block of Mockingbird Lane in regards to criminal mischief. The victim stated that he had parked his vehicle on the street at approximately 9:10 PM while he attended church. When he returned after the service, he saw that an unknown suspect had thrown a chunk of concrete at his front passenger door, causing damage.
