Labor Day is on Monday, and city offices and libraries in the Park Cities will be closing in observance of the holiday. Here is a list of some of the closures in the Park Cities: 

Highland Park

  • Highland Park town offices will be closed on Labor Day. 
  • Highland Park Library will be closed Saturday, Sept. 1 for the holiday. (Note: The library is normally open from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.) 

University Park

  • University Park City Hall will be closed on Monday in observance of the holiday.
  • Peek Service Center will be closed on Labor Day.
  • University Park Public Library will be closed Saturday, Sept. 1 for the holiday. (Note: The library normally opens at 10 a.m. Tuesday through Saturday.)
