Found Property
A Bradfield Elementary School employee reported that a white Rockboard Scooter was left on the playground about a month ago, and it was placed into the school’s lost-and-found, but no one had claimed it. The employee then gave it to the police for safekeeping.
Theft
A woman took a $2,250 “silver pearl calfskin” purse off a mannequin at 12:22 p.m. at the Chanel Boutique in Highland Park Shopping Village and then fled the store.
FEBRUARY 25
Fraudulent Use of Identifying Information
A 59-year-old resident, who lives in the 3700 block of Normandy, reported that someone wrote a $156.85 check on her account to Walgreens in January.
FEBRUARY 26
Burglary of a Building
A 49-year-old resident reported that someone entered his home’s detached garage, which was unlocked, and stole a men’s mountain bicycle and helmet between midnight and 8 a.m. in the 4300 block of Overhill Drive.
